Enhanced Teacher Incentive Allotment Districts
Enhanced TIA is a district-level designation that districts may apply for to access additional funding. School systems must implement a TIA local designation system and build evaluation systems and compensation plans for both teachers and campus leaders. Once obtained, this designation allows districts to receive an additional 10% on top of their TIA funds to support this new system.
Fourteen school systems have earned an Enhanced TIA designation based on applications submitted during the 2025-26 school year.

Support for Systems Interested in Enhanced TIA
TEA sponsors a strategic compensation cohort to support the development and implementation of a strategic compensation plan that meets the requirements to earn an Enhanced TIA designation. School systems interested in joining this 3-year community of practice should visit the LASO 5 website. Applications for the cohort open September 23, 2026, and close December 1, 2026.
